11 GENDER BALANCED TEAMS DRIVE PERFORMANCE This year, Sodexo set an ambitious global target: 40% senior leadership comprising women by 2025. In a talk with business partners, suppliers and employees, Lorna Donatone, Sodexo CEO for Geographic Regions and Region Chair for North America discussed a recent study. The survey of 50,000 managers at 100 Sodexo business units around the world found that teams with a male-to-female ratio between 40% and 60% consistently delivered the best results, including employee engagement, client retention and financial performance with 23% more gross profit. Compared to most Canadian companies, Sodexo has a higher representation of minority groups and women in senior management.
