5 MESSAGE FROM KATHERINE POWER VICE PRESIDENT, COMMUNICATIONS AND CORPORATE AFFAIRS We touch 1.1 million Canadian customers each day. Because we have a vast reach, we also have an obligation to act as a force for positive change. We focus on three key areas of change: advancing women, reducing waste and ending hunger. Here in Canada, our approach to corporate responsibility also includes our Indigenous partners. They play a key role because we believe that providing economic opportunities for our Indigenous communities allows our entire society to flourish. Sodexo Canada’s Better Tomorrow Year in Review is our look back at our corporate responsibility initiatives in 2017. We laid the groundwork and implemented some important initiatives. And our journey doesn’t end here. We continue to forge ahead, seeking new partners and best practices on our collective journey to create a Better Tomorrow for everyone. TOUCHING 1.1 MILLION CANADIAN CUSTOMERS EACH DAY
