Sodexo Canada 2016

3 A Message from the President As the world leader in providing quality of life services, we know that having a diverse group of employees makes Sodexo a stronger and more innovative company, and it is critical to our business strategy that we create an inclusive environment. At Sodexo diversity is our people, and inclusion is all of us working together. We recognize the value of all of our employees, and we are committed to providing them the best work-life experience possible regardless of their age, gender, sexual orientation, physical characteristics, or cultural beliefs. Today, Sodexo is one of the most diverse employers in the world. In Canada, over 65 per cent of our employees are women, 32 per cent are a visible minority, and Sodexo’s hiring of Indigenous people and people with disabilities is on the rise. In addition, we consider that Diversity and Inclusion should not be limited to our organization and that, by working with our suppliers and partners, we can truly advance inclusion in the workplace as well as in the communities we operate in. As a fundamental part of our growth, we know that we must fully embrace diversity in all aspects of our business, including business partnerships. As such, Sodexo is committed to having diverse suppliers and partnerships. I am proud to say that currently Sodexo has more than 90 diverse suppliers across Canada, helping the communities where we serve prosper. Thank you for sharing in the celebration of Sodexo’s commitment to our diverse workforce, clients, customers and partners, in the communities where we serve, work, and live.
